Yummy S’mores Fudge recipe

With the snow here I am officially missing summer! The long warm days sitting by the lake. The family around the campfire roasting marshmallows and eating s’mores. Summer is great for so many reasons, but I do n]like things about the other seasons too. Like winter for baking 🙂

Everything I miss from the summer wrapped up in a yummy fudge recipe. If you are missing summer, or just have a sweet tooth like me, you will want to give this recipe a try.

(Chocolate layer)

  • 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat your oven to 375.
  2. Use parchment paper to line an 8×8 pan.
  3. In a baggie or in a shallow container, crush up 1 sleeve of Graham crackers.  Add in ¼ cup of sugar and mix.
  4. Spoon out a little bit of mix to sprinkle on top of the fudge later.  Pour the melted butter in with the rest of the mix and pour into the baking sheet.  Press down to form a crust.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes to get it nice and toasty.
  6. In a small sauce pan, add the milk chocolate chips, vanilla extract and ½ a can of sweetened condensed milk.  Stir consistently until it is fully melted.
  7. Pour the chocolate over the graham cracker crust.
  8. In your sauce pan (I just used the same one again), add your white chocolate chips, marshmallow fluff and sweetened condensed milk.  Again, stir consistently until it is melted.
  9. Pour over the milk chocolate mixture.
  10. Sprinkle with your leftover crushed graham crackers.
  11. This is the hardest part, place in the refrigerator and let it set.  I let mine harden overnight.
  12. Lift out the parchment paper and slice.  The parchment paper makes this so easy!

Can you taste summer yet?

  11. I made these yesterday. First off I’d like to say they were good.. however I’d make a couple of adjustments next time. “One sleeve of Graham crackers” is not a measurement. Lol my sleeve was huge and I ended up with way too much bottom crust and most of it fell off when it set. Also, these are so sweet already that the extra sugar with the crackers is not needed. Otherwise they were good and I would make them again
