I decided to show you all how to show your tweets when entering a giveaway on the blog. I have noticed that not everyone does this. It is easier to verify tweet entries when a link is provided. Below is a step by step on how to do this. This is my first tutorial and my first time using a screen shot. 🙂
First thing you do is copy and paste or compose a tweet for your entry. Then tweet it.
Your composed tweet will look similar to this
See the time stamp under the tweet? You want to right click on that.
A pop up box will appear, you then want to click on the “Copy link address” option. Now your tweet link is ready to be pasted in the comment section for your entry. This is also good to know if you want to direct someone on twitter to a specific tweet 🙂 Once you have pasted the link I can add it into the address bar to confirm. It will look like this.
I never knew how to do this and I missed out on a lot of great prizes because of it. Thankfully I have a very patient friend who taught me step by step on twitter one day.
