With three children at home and a couple small side jobs, I don’t have much spare time.
Some of the things I used to do before I had children, like going to movies and shopping,
are much more difficult to find time for now. Even when I do have the time, the cost
of taking the children to a movie or finding a babysitter really turns me off from those
activities.
However, I still like to take time to myself to relax after a hard day at work. I try to find
low cost activities that I can do at home, and one of the things I like to do is play games
on my computer. Some people think games are just for kids but there are actually a lot
of fun games that are more suitable for adults. Iplay.com is a site that I use much of the
time, I love that they have several different categories of games to choose from.
Bejeweled 2 is my absolute favorite game from Iplay. This game, like all of the games on
the site, was free to play for the first 60 minutes, which was more than enough time for
me to get addicted! In the 90’s, I really liked playing Tetris, and the Bejeweled games
are very similar to Tetris. It is a puzzle-type game, where you need to get three gems of
the same kind next to each other. Once you do that, those gems disappear and you gain
points. Each level gets progressively more difficult, but it is a fun challenge.
I’ve played many other games, like Sudoku, on Iplay that were also a lot of fun and serve
as a great stress-buster. In a world full of baby talk, it’s nice to play games that exercise
the brain and keep me sharp. Right now Iplay actually has a promo code: NEWIPLAY,
so I’ve been experimenting with all the games and deciding which one to purchase next!
The code gets you 40% off games, so it’s a steal to be able to have games to download on
your computer to play forever, even without an internet connection. Next time you have
a moment to relax, find a fun game to get swept up in.
