Zesty Shrimp Flatbread recipe with Sobey’s #SAVOURTHESUMMER

Sobey’s and Compliments have everything you need to make your summer an entertaining experience. Check out this tasty treat I prepared for my guests

Ingredients
¾ bag (341 g) frozen Compliments Cooked Pacific White Shrimp (71-90 ct),
thawed and tails removed
1 lime, zested and juiced
¼ cup (60 mL) finely chopped red onion
3 tbsp (45 mL) chopped fresh ComplimentsMint
2 tbsp (30 mL) seeded and minced jalapeño pepper
1 small plum tomato, diced
⅛ tsp (0.5 mL) salt
1 pkg (275 g) Sensations by ComplimentsOriginal Flatbread
½ cup (125 mL) Compliments Tzatziki Yogourt & Cucumber Dip
1 cup (250 mL) shredded lettuce

Instructions

Place shrimp in a bowl, sprinkle lime zest and 4 tsp (20 mL) lime juice overtop. Stir in onion, mint, jalapeño, tomato and salt.
 
Spread tzatziki on flatbread, sprinkle with lettuce and scatter shrimp mixture overtop.

27 g protein
8 g total fat (2.5 g sat. fat)
180 mg cholesterol
42 g carbohydrates
3 g fibre
4 g sugars
950 mg sodium
 
TIP:You can also serve the shrimp mixture and tzatziki in pita shells and ciabatta buns or on a thin crust pizza base.



This recipe is so good. It looks fancy but it was very simple to make. We served it with a few light salads and some wine. The main course was Sterling Silver premium AAA beef grilled on the BBQ. Everything complimented each other. It was a casual last minute get together. After we had dinner we let the kids roast marshmallows on the fire. It was so cool that we were able to pick those up from the Compliments line at Sobey’s too. They were so big and just perfect for smores.
