As a child we collected Disney movies. I had everyone within a week of it being released. It was the only real collection we had. Disney was and is great at creating movies that families can enjoy together for endless movie nights. I was really looking forward to this one arriving here. My children love watching animated movies. They love animals and really enjoy Disney. This movie was all of that. The characters are very unique and the story line of course, family friendly. I love Basil’s character, his seriousness and his accent. This mystery movie is a lot of fun to watch with the kids. Now having it on Bluray  the colours are brighter and bolder and the sound is fantastic. If you are looking to expand your collection, be sure to check out the Great Mouse Detective tomorrow.
