Looking for a beautiful gift to give this holiday season? The beauty of the Maplelea Girl collection is that they are not only expertly crafted but they are also Canadian dolls created especially for Canadian girls! In addition to dolls, clothes, shoes, accessories and pets designed for each of the six regionally-based Maplelea Girls (from Nova Scotia to Nunavut), there’s a new twist to the doll line. Girls can now choose one of 12 Maplelea Friends — distinct looking dolls in need of a name, background story and wardrobe that real girls get to invent. Girls may choose a doll that resembles themselves (long blonde hair to short curly black) or their best friend or may select a playmate that’s entirely new to them. Each of the Maplelea Friends comes with a 64-page journal for you and your child to fill in, adorable head-to-toe outfit and decorative storage box. I love the box, very strong and big. Great for outfits and accessories.
Introducing Maplelea Friends * $99.99
Canada’s diversity is amply represented in this new group which offers dolls with a wide variety of hair, eye and skin tones from which to choose. Maplelea Friends come dressed in a cute graphic tee and a corduroy skirt, striped footless tights and silver shoes with a cut-out maple leaf detail. Like all Maplelea dolls, she measures 46cm or 18 inches tall, with a soft body and poseable arms and legs. Kids find it fun to watch her eyes open and close.
Did you know that Maplelea Girls are not found in retail shops. Why? The company keeps its costs down by selling directly to the consumer. Plus many Canadian girls do not live near retail outlets that sell high quality specialty toys. By offering a flat $9 shipping fee for any size order traveling anywhere in Canada, all girls have equal access to the product line. Orders can be placed online at www.maplelea.com or by phone at 1-800-668-4339 24 hours/7 days a week.
My daughter is four and she loves Maplelea dolls. I let her pick out the one she wanted and she choose one with Long layered blonde hair like hers. When the doll arrived my daughter could not wait to remove her from the box. She really enjoys her. She takes her everywhere and people always comment on how much they look a like. they also ask about the doll. It isn’t every day you see such a beautiful well crafted doll. Being the proud Canadian I am, I love that her shirt and shoes both have the Mapleleaf on them.
This doll is my daughters second from the Maplea Dolls collection. Jenna was the first and dd often plays with them both. It is great that we can give this one a name and a story so it is similar to ours. So no matter where you are from you can find a doll for your loved one and together, create a story for them.
Order now to have yours arrive on time for Christmas.
