Our youngest is a bit of a prankster. She loves to be silly and play games. She is always playing tricks on her siblings and “testing” her brothers. When we got A is for Ketchup I knew we were in for a treat. This children’s book fit her personality perfectly.
The colorful artwork in A is for Ketchup really pops off the page and Finkley recently hired three talented illustrators worldwide (India!, England!, Argentina!) to create illustrations for his storybooks. And his writing career is also a family affair: in addition to inspiration from his boys, Finley’s mom, a longtime teacher, helps him edit his stories and develop additional ideas.
Choosing self-publishing has given Finkley the opportunity to become a full-time writer. He quit his day job and is now a work-at-home dad, relishing his flexible schedule and the time he gets to spend with his boys. Finkley decided to release his books in print through Amazon’s CreateSpace, feeling “I had nothing to lose and everything to gain” – and he’s not turned back since! He self-published his latest picture book as an e-book via Kindle Direct Publishing – a potty training story, Poop There It is! (which also soon will be released in paperback through CreateSpace, too) and is working on yet another new title to be released in the fall!
Available on Amazon for less than $10 this book makes a great stocking stuffer. We have a lot of books in our home and the ones that teach the kids in a fun way like this, are always best.

Learning the alphabet has never been so fun. The funny rhymes and bright pics make this cute books lot of fun. My daughter is in JK and just learning her ABC’s so this book is perfect for us.
