Making smiles with Pampers Gifts to Grow Rewards

The holidays are a time of giving, but after buying gifts for family and friends the budget can be too tight to give to others in need. If you think outside the box, there are many ways to give:
– Since the Pantene Beautiful Lengths program launched in Canada in 2007, Pantene has received over 40,000 ponytails for real-hair wigs that the Canadian Cancer Society distributes to cancer patients across the country. Participating Pantene Beautiful Lengths salons in the Greater Toronto Area have generously offered their stylist’s time to cut donor’s hair now until December 31, 2012. To learn more, visit www.pantene.com or Pantene Canada on Facebook
-Be sure to visit the Duracell Canada Facebook page. Every time you like or share a new post from Duracell Canada, between Nov 5 – Dec 31/12, we will donate $1CAD to the Children’s Miracle Network up to a maximum $25,000.
-Pampers Gifts To Grow Rewards (GTG) allows you to collect points for toys, giftcards, or or give to charities such as SIDS Canada (The Canadian Foundation for the Study of Infant Deaths). Why not redeem your points for a toy and donate it to a family in need?

My kids are out of diapers and have been for a while. However I still collect the bonus points when I can from Pampers. Pampers Gifts to Grow is an awesome program that allows you to redeem points you collect from product or newsletters for great rewards. As a P&G Mom I was given an extra 2000 points to  put towards a gift I could donate as I wished. This is about $20 in value. Pampers Gifts to Grow rewards offers a big selection of items and ship really quick. There is also no shipping charges (bonus). I  have been a member since the beginning. Over the years I have redeemed for puzzles, books, toys and gift cards.

Having small children and a limited income I was not able to donate to  charities like wished. Add a broken washer and you get the picture. So it was great timing for me to get these bonus points. I ordered a gift card for Build a Bear workshop and gifted it to my children’s toy drive at school. The value is $25 but added to other items I know it will make someone happy this Christmas. This can get a child a bear or an outfit at one of the many Build a Bear locations across Canada. If you do not have a program to donate to, you can donate your points directly through Pampers Gifts to Grow. They have many donation options.
