I understand the legality of them giving someone like me with potential health issues a plan that does not fit my requirements. But I really would have liked it for additional support. I do think it is important to share with you all this site so those who can use it will benefit from it. I am able to access the tips and recipes portion of the site. Recipes like the Hawaiian pizza pictured below will surely make keep focused on my goal a lot easier. nobody like bland tasteless food and this looks to be full of taste. The site is also full of great positive tips. Exactly what you need during your weight loss journey.

1
Start right
Begin each day with a nutritious breakfast. Studies show that people who eat breakfast have a healthier body weight than those who skip.
2
Divide your plate
Designate half of your plate for veggies and salad (watch the dressing). A quarter should be lean protein, like fish, chicken or beef. And the last quarter is for a grain product like pasta, rice or bread.
3
Drink your H2O.
Feeling tired or hungry? You may just be thirsty. Water helps your body transport nutrients and eliminate toxins. Add a cucumber or lemon slice to jazz it up!
4
Ride the wave.
Feel yourself getting ready to overindulge? These urges come in waves. If you can allow 10 to 15 minutes to pass, chances are the urge will pass with it. Occupy the time by moving around, calling a friend, taking a shower, going on a walk, or doing something relaxing and positive for yourself…you are definitely worth it!
5
Go for fruit.
Fruit is packed with vitamins and antioxidants and it contains fibre, which is an important part of a healthy diet. Try some yummy berries: blueberries, raspberries, strawberries—they’re great on top of cereal or with a little low fat cottage cheese.
crisps
Since I started to seriously watch what I have been eating I have been craving sweets. Chocolate is my fave and I do not like to go without the things I like. It kind of bums me out. I was very pleased to discover that Special K has a variety of Portion controlled snacks and a few of them are very chocolaty.  The Fruit crisps, Bars and Cracker Chips make snacking a not so stressful experience.  I looked at the calories and was pleased to find they were all under 100 calories. I am able to satisfy my sweet tooth and not sacrifice taste. The variety will keep me from getting bored as well. I plan on continuing my journey and will consult my Dr or dietitian for a meal plan that fits my life and body. I will continue to include the products I have loved for years along with so many new ones from Special K.
Make sure you collect your pins from specialty marked Special K products and redeem them for a New Balance shirt. There are all kinds of ways to keep you motivated on their site. I am sure you will find it very useful. Best of luck to you on your goals.

  6. Thanks for a great post! This year we have been working hard to eat better and to get more exercise as a family. It is not easy work, but I do agree that Kellogg's Special K products provide a lot of healthy choice options. I do love that their chocolate crisps are 100 calories per 2-pack, so I can treat myself without going overboard.
