Cinco de Mayo The fifth of May, is observed in Mexico and Mexican-American communities in the United States to commemorate the Mexican victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla in 1862. Many people like to have a celebration and the weather is usually quite nice so we usually have a patio party. The above drink Pineapple Lime Smoothie is a great one to serve to your guests. It is nonalcoholic and very refreshing . A fabulous drink for all your guests. Click on the picture for the complete recipe.
Will you be celebrating? I would love to hear what you will be serving.
Ole! I'm all for Cinco De Mayo when drinks like this are involved. Yummy!

Ooooh! That looks delicious! 🙂
We don't have any Cinco De Mayo celebrations in my neck of the woods… and when I wished my Mexican friends a happy one LAST year they chuckled as it's apparently not really observed out there either 🙂
I MAY make a Mexican dinner to celebrate that way hah 🙂
We always celebrate Cinco De Mayo! This year I'm making a Summer Beer along with having chips, salsa and guac, with tacos! Should be fun! 😀
Don't Cinco de Mayo, but i may be drinking a few of those smoothies.
I am in love with smoothies!!! I used to have a smoothie every day for breakfast, it’s such a great way to start the day. I would love to add this to my smoothie repertoire.
