Ranchify Your Recipe

It is easy to Ranchify your recipes that usually call for mayonnaise or salad dressing. If you like the creamy taste you can change up any recipe. Hidden Valley Ranch has three flavours to make this a tasty transition, Original, Spicy and cheese flavoured. My fave is the spicy. I love flavour and the extra kick of the spicy is perfect. Not too spicy but enough to spice up any recipe.

When I was sent the Hidden Valley Ranch to try out and create recipes, I admit I was stumped as to where to begin. I am not a recipe creator or do I consider myself a good cook. So I decided to keep it simple. I started using them on wraps, sandwiches as spreads, in salads and even as a glaze on fish. It was very tasty and easy to change normal day to day meals. One of my faves I made was Spicy Ranch Chicken Salad.  It was pretty easy and you can add any veggies you happen to have on hand.

Spicy Ranch Chicken Salad

  • 2 cups of leftover chicken (I used chicken breast, boneless, skinless) Diced
  • 1 pepper (green or red) diced
  • 2 cups of macaroni boiled and rinsed with cold water
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheese
  • 1/2 cup of Hidden Valley Ranch Spicy
  • 2 green onions (optional)

Combine, refrigerate and serve. The taste of the spicy allowed me not to add any additional seasoning to the salad. It was a great way to use leftovers as well. Easy to do and tasted good 🙂

I usually don't like ranch but am a big fan of the cheese flavoured Hidden Valley. Will have to try spicy!
