Coleman S’More Maker for the Campfire

We are an outdoors family. We spend most of our time outside in our huge yard. We live in an area that thousands and thousands of people visit to seasonally.  We have a fire pit and sit out almost every night. The kids love it and so do we. The peacefulness of the campfire is wonderful. Sitting under the stars and hearing the animals off in a distance makes us feel like we are camping. Hard to believe we are in our backyard.

We had the Coleman S’mores maker sent to us to check out and we put it to the test last night.

smores prep

The S’More Maker is easy to use and holds three s’mores at once. It is made from Chrome plated steel. The handle I think could be a bit longer and I wish there was an easy way to put them together. Maybe our pieces were too big but thy kept falling over before I covered it.

The chocolate melted before the marshmallow was toasted. My son prefers his marshmallow almost black so he was not thrilled. Myself and my other son loved it this way. All melted and warm.

I must admit that I felt better about my kids using a closed rack to make the s’mores. The stick with a marshmallow on them were always scary to me. The S’Mores maker is easy to clean and store. We will be using it over and over again. My kids love S’More s and they are a big part of our summer.

How to make S’Mores

Place a marshmallow and square of chocolate in between two graham crackers. Melt. Eat. Enjoy!

We love smores, but we simply make them by using the digestive biscuits with the chocolate on them. Makes it so easy!
