Since I was a young child I have memories of Niagara Falls. My family would make it a summer destination every year. My memories are good ones, full of attractions, fun and great people. One memory I have is going on the Sky wheel at night with my sister and my parents. The scenery the lights and being up high were amazing!
So when I had my children, I cold not wait to take them to Niagara Falls. We have been a few times over the years. we enjoy the food, the crowds and all the unique stores. we love the Falls, the attractions and the fun places to visit. Clifton Hill is one of those fun places.
Recently we went to Niagara Falls for a day trip. we had had this planned for a while so when we woke to yucky weather, there was no turning back. The pic above was from on top of the Sky wheel as the rain was slowing down.
The Sky Wheel was a slow paced Ferris wheel ride that fit our entire family. Great way to get a unique view of the Falls and other attractions. It went around so many times I thought we were getting a bonus ride but that is just how long it is. The wait time was not long ans we were able to swipe our Fun Pass for quick access.
If you have a family and are looking to save the Fun pass is a great option.
For visitors who want to enjoy all that Niagara Falls has to offer, come to Clifton Hill’s world famous Street of Fun by the Falls and enjoy an unforgetable experience like no other! Your trip wouldn’t be complete without enjoying Clifton Hill’s most popular attractions; And with the FUN PASS you can access several of Niagara Falls’ best for up to $25 in savings off regular price admissions
The Clifton Hill “FUN PASS” includes:
- The Niagara SkyWheel (Canada’s Largest Observation Wheel)
- Galaxy Golf or Dinosaur Adventure Golf*
- Movieland Wax Museum of Stars
- XD Theater
- Ghostblasters Dark Ride
- Plus 5 Great Canadian Midway Tokens
We did not have a chance to do the golf as it was raining and the family wanted to do the outdoors Dinosaur golf. So we will do that next time we are visiting. Our passes are good for a year from the date we got then, so there is lots of time.
The XD Theater was a crazy ride we all got to enjoy. A short wait inside and we were brought behind a curtained area in the large arcade. There we strapped ourselves in and put on our glasses. We then went for a virtual ride throughout outer space on a roller coaster safely from our moving chair. The tokens were a delight for my children who love getting tickets from games to trade in for prizes. There are so many arcade style games for all ages and abilities. Not sure what my kids love more, playing the games or choosing the prizes?
From there we headed over to the Ghostblaster ride. There you are in a 2 seater car on a track shooting glow in the dark markers. It was a creepy good time. My score was pretty good as well I should add lol
Then as the rain started again we headed over to Movieland Wax Museum of Stars. This wax museum has celebrities from the past and present. Some look very life like and they are so fun to take pictures with. hubs could not resist getting his done with the president of the USA and the Blues Brothers. Myself, I was more interested in my fellow Red heads.
We had a great afternoon and enjoyed all there was to see and do while we visited Clifton Hill. My children aged 4- 15 were not disappointed and have been asking to return. You can check them out online when you are planning your next trip to Niagara Falls. While there you can spot them easily half way up the main rain, just look for the Sky Wheel.
When you visit the falls what is your favourite thing to do or see?
I do love going to Niagara Falls, but they seriously SUCK the money out of you, especially with their "tourist tax" or whatever the heck it is.
I enjoy going bowling, Dave & Busters, always gotta see them falls even though I've seen them about 15 times or more. The Keg (if you aren't on a budget) has an amazing dining view. Ripley's would be a better checkout than looking at a wax figure of Bette Midler, at least for me.
Clearly, I love this magnificent blog! Thanks for advertising our Fun Pass! I love Gingers!!! lol 😀
Oh, this place looks fun 🙂 You had the same luck we did going places this summer, rain, rain, rain 🙁 Oh well, just shows fun can still be had!
