Sabra HUMMUS

As many of you already know I am a snacker. It is sometimes difficult for me to find tasty snacks that are good for me and not full of salt and sugar. HUMMUS is something that took me a little bit to get a taste for. I was unsure of it until I had a sample in the store once. after that I started experimenting what I could eat it with. I use it as a spread and a dip.

The texture of hummus is something to get use to as well. I have become a great fan of it and try to eat it at least weekly.

Our Classic Hummus combines fresh chickpeas with a touch of garlic and tahini (ground sesame seeds) to create a smooth and creamy spread. It’s as healthy as it is delicious (which is to say, very).

Sabra HUMMUS is a healthy choice when choosing a snack.  2Tbsp is just 70 calories and a little goes a long way. Originally from the Middle East Hummus has become more and more popular throughout North America.

I was able to find a variety of Sabra Hummus in my local grocery store in the deli section. Located in the cooler area.

Sabra Hummus varieties include

  • Classic Hummus
  • Roasted Red Pepper Hummus
  • Roasted Garlic Hummus
  • Roasted Pine Nut Hummus
  • Greek Olive Hummus
  • Supremely Spicy Hummus
  • Spinach and Artichoke Hummus

I enjoy the Roasted Pine Nut Hummus as it has a bit of a nutty taste. I also like dipping carrots in Roasted red Pepper Hummus. when I am looking for a spread I enjoy the Supreme Spicy Hummus. The hummus is seasoned just right and adds a taste to my snacks like nothing else. I am glad I tried it as I really like it.

September 7-I discovered Hummus at a local Grocery Store about 2 years ago. I also acquired a taste but have been negligent this summer about buying it. It does make a very taste snack with crackers or toast and it is cetainly lower in calories than butter. Thank you for reminding me of its really delicious qualities.
