Our youngest is not a fan of the dark. She dislikes having to go to bed before her much older siblings and always requests the hall light be left on. We have tried different nightlights but they really do not cover the amount of area needed. Plus I find they get quite hot and it worries me they may be a hazard. Friends have been telling me about the Tranquil Turtle from Cloud b.
Tranquil Turtle – The 2013 T.O.T.Y. (Toy of The Year) award winning Tranquil Turtle is the first Cloud b product that combines both sight and sound features in one soft, soothing character. Glowing in a relaxing aquamarine or ocean blue colour, the shell projects a magical underwater light effect with a gentle wave motion and plays the soothing sounds of ocean waves and undersea melodies. Tranquil Turtle features a 23 minute sleep timer with auto shut-off and includes an illustrated storybook, adoption certificate and endangered sea animals guide.
The light effects mimics being underwater. Ripple like waves reflected on the ceiling and wall . A percentage of a Cloud B sales goes to The Children’s Wish Foundation so purchasing this gift helps others as well. Tranquil turtle plays two sounds, Melody and Ocean waves. Both sooth the child to sleep. Great for new babies and older children. I like the easy to adjust brightness control. As we live in the country and sometime it is darker or brighter here depending on the moon. You can set the Tranquil Turtle on a dresser or your child can hold their soft stuffy with hard shell. we place ours on the nightstand. No cords needed and no plugs, this makes me happy as well. You do need 3 AAA batteries though so make sure to stock up.
You can find Tranquil Turtle in most major retailers like Walmart, Toys R Us and online.
This adorable gift would be great for any child on your list that needs little comfort at bed time. The price is $54 and worth every penny if you consider the soothing comforts and stress less bedtimes 🙂
WOW! I need to check this out! I have the same problems with both my children and often end up co-sleeping instead!
