Kimberley Newport-Mimran, the woman behind Canada’s iconic fashion brand, Pink Tartan, knows a thing or two about looking chic. As creative director and president for one
of Canada’s most successful women’s wear lines and mom, Kim shares her style secrets for looking great on the go:
“Modern style is about care
Sometimes being chic is as simple as keeping your clothes looking crisp and clean. Imagine browsing your favourite shop if the clothing looked less than polished? It would alter the way you looked at the garment. I believe we should care for our clothing as you would other items you cherish. Using Tide Pods protects your favourite pieces and helps keep them looking their best.”

I am married to someone whom is obsessed with doing laundry, but isn't very good at it. We had to stop using liquid detergent and switch to pods because he would swirl the liquid around, using too much and costing too much a per load. I am thankful for pods despite their higher price point.
I throw everything in the washer and hang to dry 🙂
I do at least 1 load per day, so it doesn't get away on me.
My laundry routine is i separate all the clothes put them in the washer then pop in a tide pod…my fav…i forget about the laundry until it is either time to hang it on the clothes line or pop in the dryer. The dryer has one of those bounce bars in it. Im all about keeping it simple.
My current laundry routine? Avoid until there is nothing left to wear and then do everything all in one day!!! Ugh.
I do laundry on the weekends. I wash everything in cold water and use unstoppables. Love this stuff.
I do laundry once a week on the weekend. Laundry is pricey in apartment buildings. I just use normal laundry detergent and bounce sheets. 🙂
I do it pretty much everyday! Always something that needs washing!
im the laundry guru. only on mid-peak or off-peak hours
My laundry routine is everyday,3 to 4 loads a day-depending on if my husband changes frequently with his two jobs(mechanic and mechanical engineer-which he always needs clean clothing.
I love my unstoppables!!! Favorite is the purple ones 🙂
I do laundry after 7 at night and always in cold water, I try to save when I can
Haha i do pretty much the Same as Christine C. i go until I’ve got no more clothes left then i have a laundry day
love tide pods
Sprinkle in some tide and voila!!
I don't have one, my girlfriend do all the laundry! 🙂
Ooh, I love these scents 🙂
Everyday! Fold right after dryer's end. Hate wrinkles
I have 3 kids, so usually 2 loads a day if not more
2 loads a week, one for whites one for colors
I do laundry whenever I have money and on a day off. I wash in cold water.
i love the pods so much easier to do laundry
right now, my laundry routine consists of….hopefully I get it done!
I sort colours/whites, toss in washer with detergent and wash!
Saturday is laundry day and sometimes drags into Sunday!
I do laundry every other day. Sort the clothes , clean the clothes ,throw them in the dryer ,fold and put away
I don’t really have a routine. It is just me and my husband so we don’t usually have much to do
I do at least 2 loads a day , i hate having dirty clothes laying around , i love these products they make your clothes smell so nice , thanks for the chance to win !!! 🙂
Don’t really have a routine at the moment, it’s basically whenever we have extra time we toss in the clothes and try to do as many loads in a day
We do laundry a few times a week usually on certain days. We try to work with the hydro and do laundry during the cheaper times.
we do a couple of loads a week – colours, and whites – plus hand washing of delicates, and hang everything outside throughout the year. If the weather is too bad we leave it to dry in the laundry room
I often wait until I run out of clean clothes before I do a wash LOL….my better half does his own laundry as well.
I work shifts.. so my laundry routine is sporadic like my shifts.. always doing it in off peak hours to save on energy!
Throw a load in the washer and depends on the weather how I dry it. Outside is nice and in the dryer if not.
I put a load in the washer every night just before I go to bed and I put a load in the dryer every morning right after I have a coffee
I have a toddler so I do a load of his clothes every day and alternate days for doing towels and other clothes.
About every two days I do a couple loads of laundry. i separate all the clothes put them in the washer then pop in a tide pod
I am so lucky, my husband does it! I just have to hang up my stuff I don’t want want in the dryer!
I am another lucky gal – my husband does the laundry!
I do a load a day!
My current laundry routine? Doing it when no more clothes will fit in the basket and trying desperately hard NOT to forget to move a load to the dryer AND folding them as there is no laundry fairy… Much to my dismay.

With two little ones, I find that I do laundry every couple of days – 1 different type of load each time so that in all, each load type is done about once a week. I wash the darks, lights, reds/bright pinks, towels, and sheets each in separate loads, in cold water, then I hang all our clothes to dry (and tumble dry the towels and sheets). Hubby takes his own clothes off the drying racks, I do mine and the girls, which includes folding and putting away. I pay my 6 year old to fold the towels for me – 10 cents a towel – and my husband and I share the dreaded sheet folding task.
I have two different coloured hampers. One for white and one for darks. So everything gets pre sorted. I sometimes feel I’m doing laundry every single day
Laundry gets done around here twice a week. Wednesday whatever there is and everything on Saturday inc bedding & towels.
I do diapers Mondays and Fridays. Baby clothes Sunday and Thursdays. Towels and sheets are Sunday or Monday and dark clothes are Wednesday and lights get done usually only every couple weeks as we don’t tend to have many. But many, many loads per week!
