A Moose in a Maple Tree & Other Books for Canadian Winter

Author Troy Townsin and illustrator Jennifer Harrington have created a series of picture books that celebrate Canada for its solid values and its wonderful diversity of cultures.  A Moose in a Maple Tree Productions is a division of Polyglot Publishing created for children and for those who have a love for all things Canadian. Their books and CDs are designed and printed in Canada.

Through their books and CDs they aim to educate children and adults about the beauty and diversity of our great nation in a fun and entertaining way. They try to include every corner of the country in the contents of their books and CD. The stories take readers across Canada visiting each province and territory and the musicians on their CD come from all over Canada with very diverse backgrounds.

A Moose in a Maple Tree

Canadians are all too familiar with stereo types. we have our traditions and our quirks. We love to be outside and are very fond of our wildlife and beautiful nature. So these books are perfect for us to enjoy and learn this holiday season. These three books, Canadian Jingle Bells, A Moose in a Maple Tree and The Night Before a Canadian Christmas are all hard cover books. With pictures of hockey, Orcas and beavers there is something for all in these books. Bright coloured illustrations, and large print make these great for new readers. The Christmas theme is great for this time of year and make a great gift.
