Movies for Mommies

Having a baby doesn’t mean you can’t do grown up, fun things with your little one, such as enjoying the latest Hollywood movie at the cinema! Movies for Mommies (MFM) – the Original Parent & Baby Film Event was created just for that reason.

Movies for Mommies is a weekly matinee for moms (and dads) to enjoy in a cinema exclusively for them.

Each location has change tables set up in the theatre with complimentary Pampers diapers and wipes. Sound levels are reduced to protect little ears, lights are dimmed to make it easier to nurse, bottle warmers are set up, there is plenty of stroller parking and best of all, there are no dirty looks baby when baby cries!

Movies For Mommies has monthly pre-show programs, including free infant massage clinics, baby photos, baby signing demos and more. All Movies For Mommies locations have a welcome table at the front of theatre filled with amazing samples for mom and baby, including Pampers Sensitive Wipes, baby food, baby snacks, adult vitamins and more!

First time attending Movies for Mommies? Here’s what you need to know:

  • Movies For Mommies runs programs in Quebec, Ontario, Alberta, Saskatchewan and British Columbia.
  • Timing varies with weekly matinees starting between noon and 1 p.m.
  • Movies are all the latest and greatest, with a mix of romantic comedy, action, and drama (note: this is grown up content, not suitable for toddlers).
  • Arrive early. Movies For Mommies hostesses will greet you with a welcome package and membership card where your 7th movie is free!
  • This event is best enjoyed with a baby 0-12 months. The younger the baby, the more likely they are to sleep through the movie in the dark.
