Ever since I can remember my husband’s fave thing to order when out for lunch is Beef dip. A yummy beef and gravy like sandwich served on garlic toasted bread that fills your tummy. Great for cold winter days. Myself, I love it cold the next day. I think because the flavours have had time to set in and it is so good. Recently I attempted to make it using my slow cooker and it was a big success. The entire family loved it.
Ingredients
- small beef roast
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- soy sauce 1 cup
- water 6 cups
- salt and pepper to taste
Place roast in slow cooker. Season with garlic . Pour in soy sauce and water. Cook on Low setting for 6 to 10 hours. Or medium for 4-6 hours. The longer it cooks, the better. The meat will fall apart and soak up the sauce. Serve on french bread toasted with garlic butter. Serves 6-8 people. The dip sauce is watery sauce but tastes really good!
The leftover sauce can be used as a gravy for your potatoes or a dip for your sandwich

Oh yum!!!
I wanted to let you know that I made this Beef Dip last night and it was a HUGE hit!! The only difference that I made was that I added Tarragon spice to it and added much more garlic to my Beef Dip. We are a HUGE Garlic fan so we added MUCH more but.. It was a VERY tasty meal all the same. 🙂
