What your sign says about you

Sometimes I am hard to live with.

I know this and my family knows this.

Often I chalk up my personality traits as being a redhead or the oldest child, but that is not really fair. Especially when I want to break the Ginger stereo types. So I did some digging and looked up my horoscope over the last little while. It turns out my strengths and weaknesses are very much inline with my Zodiac Sign, Leo. Everything I am proud of about myself and all the parts I may not be so happy about.

• Generous
• Encouraging

Weaknesses of a Leo 

• Pretentious
• Vain
• Domineering
• Melodramatic
• Stubborn

If you know me you may agree with some of these. However I do not think the weaknesses describe me very well. I personally do not think being stubborn is a weakness. Often what one person looks at as a strength, another may consider a weakness. From my research Leos are very independent but controlling (um, yeah this describes me). They like to be admired and appreciated (don’t we all?) Leos are happy with their own success but thrive when they have admirers (again a redhead thing). Leos have a generous nature and make friends very easily.  They are forgiving yet some are too caught up in themselves to notice others (I am forgiving to a point). But remember the stubborn comment in the beginning…. 

So far most of this makes sense to me about me. I never really considered my sign to be part of my personality before reading all this.

Leos are full of drama, flair and extravagance and this reflects in the business world. They are often successful and do not like to fail. Leos do not like dull or boring and will stir up things to create conflict to amuse themselves . Well I very much dislike drama, so for me this is not true. I am surprised Leos like drama as we are also known for being sensitive. Often some of these personalities seem to conflict with our others. But most do make sense to me. When it comes to love, they say Leos like people who are funny and admire them. They also like the best of the best. This is so true, I love to laugh. I also have champagne tastes on a beer budget haha! 

Very amusing to dig deep into what my sign means about me. No doubt there are many factors that make a person who they are. But most of  this fits with me so well. I am going to keep an eye on my sign and follow my horoscope for a bit. You just never know what you may learn.
