Layered Minty Fudge Recipe

Looking to make a special treat for St Patrick’s day? This Layered Minty Fudge is sure to be a pleaser!

Layered Minty Fudge:

Ingredients:

2 cups of chocolate chips

2 cups of white chocolate chips

1 4ounce can of sweetened condensed milk

1 teaspoon of peppermint extract

Green food coloring

Wax Paper

Directions:

Line the bottom of a square pan with the wax paper and set aside.

Place the chocolate chips and half of the can of sweetened condensed milk into a microwave safe bowl.

Microwave until smooth. (Be sure to stir every 30 seconds or it will burn easy)

Pour the chocolate mixture into the pan lined with the wax paper make sure it is spread evenly.

Repeat the microwave process with the white chips.

Add the peppermint and the food coloring and mix well.

Spread the new mixture evenly over the chocolate fudge.

Use a knife and swirl the two parts together. Make sure you do not cut into the wax paper.

Place the fudge into the refrigerator until firm and then place onto the counter until it warms to room temperature.

Bring a spatula around the edges of the pan, then flip the pan over and put the fudge onto a cutting board.

Remove the wax paper and cut into shapes desired.

Finally…. ENJOY!!

  5. This type of fudge I make every year even make a pink one Everyone loves it I think because it is so tasty and the color pops . BUT I have never put peppermint extract in it BUT I will from now on Thank you for the post BUT NOE I really want to have some 🙂
