I was playing around with the blender the other day. Trying to find some yummy combinations for a smoothie. Lucky for me frozen fruit was on sale the day before. So I stocked up. Whenever fruit is off season I like to buy it frozen. Great to have on hand for recipes and snacking. I had some frozen mango chunks and knew that would be a tasty addition to a smoothie. So I ventured to find what else we had.
I love my smoothie to be on the thicker side. Full of flavour with no added sugar.
Mango Banana Smoothie
1 cup of frozen Mango chunks
1 cup of fruit juice (I used orange)
1 banana
1/2 cup of yogurt
Blend all ingredients on high for 45 seconds or until smooth. Pour into glasses. Serves two.
This is great for breakfast or on the go!
I always enjoy smoothies made with frozen fruit. I find they add a texture and consistency that is so yummy!

This sounds delicious! I've had banana smoothies before and I've had mango smoothies, but never combined! Yum!!
