A Muppet-astic return for Muppets Most Wanted #SUBWAYandaMovie

muppets most wanted

I am a HUGE fan of The Muppets, I always have been, and having them return to the screen was wonderful for the last movie and this time did not disappoint either.
The jokes were plentiful, so were the songs and the cameos were awesome! I have always enjoyed that aspect of the franchise, you really have to watch these movies multiple times to find them all, and I will absolutely be doing that when I add this one to my collection.
The thing I love most about this wasn’t the plot, but it was great with a mistaken identity/evil conspiracy theme, it was that it can be enjoyed by multiple generations. There was enough fun at enough levels that mom and dad and the kids can all laugh, and probably gramma and grampa too ;).
Some fun songs including a great number by the two villains at the beginning and a lot of what we love to expect from The Muppets, one-liners that are spoken to the audience and as asides. The cast was full of surprises and did a great job.
A definite for young and ‘experienced’ Muppet fans to check out.
Enjoy!
Special thanks also to Subway Canada for putting the event on! They did a great job…and we did grab subs afterwards ;).

Disney’s “Muppets Most Wanted” takes the entire Muppets gang on a global tour, selling out grand theatres in some of Europe’s most exciting destinations, including Berlin, Madrid and London. But mayhem follows the Muppets overseas, as they find themselves unwittingly entangled in an international crime caper headed by Constantine—the World’s Number One Criminal and a dead ringer for Kermit—and his dastardly sidekick Dominic, aka Number Two, portrayed by Ricky Gervais. The film stars Tina Fey as Nadya, a feisty prison guard, and Ty Burrell as Interpol agent Jean Pierre Napoleon.
