I tried out the March ChefButler box that had everything I needed to make a Pakistani meal. I only had to go to the grocery store for the produce and meat. A few items on the list, I had already. But the spices and other ingredients I did not have, they sent. Which was great, because some of them were new to me. And they were all pre-measured in their own package so each recipe was super easy.
With the ingredients ChefButler sent me I made three dishes. The dishes I made were, Beef Qeema, Vegetable Biryani and Coconut Ladoo. Each was full of sweet and spicy ingredients, fresh produce and wonderful textures. From what my friends tell me they were very authentic as well.

Also included in the box was a game plan and recipe cards. The recipes cards gave an ingredient list and step by step how to. There was also some fun information included for each recipe. The box included a shopping list that listed the ingredients I had to buy at the store. There was a check box to mark off what I had and still needed. This experience was so easy and my home filled with aromas it has never had before. All of the food tasted perfect! I was happy with the results as was my family. An extra touch I thought was fun was an email ChefButler sent. The email was to tell me my box was on its way. But it was fun and informative. Made me excited about my delivery 🙂

I've read that it has past and future recipes like butter chicken, chocolate rum balls, etc. Many of the recipes listed sound like things I would really enjoy. I also read it is enough for a serving of 4, which is perfect for my family.
I like the idea that every box is fully customizable so you can leave out ingredients you may not like.

I didn't know that ground spices are only good for 6-12 months. I think this is a great idea for those want to try different ethnic foods at home and shopping for individual spices can be a challenge!

I LOVE Chef Butler boxes. My whole family looks for to it's arrival and then the meal. We all share the cooking process and has become a family monthly event. I have never been disappointed with Chef Butler and always impressed with every box!!
