African Lion Safari is a great place to take the family for the day. You can grab lunch, get wild with the animals and wet in the splash pad hen follow it up with an elephant ride. There are a variety of bird shows you can catch and so much to learn. When we visit we always drive through the game reserve on our own. The kids love having the baboons jump on the car and Rhinos cross in front. They enjoy the up close encounters with the Giraffes and laugh at the kooky Ostriches freaking out as mini vans pass by.
You can bring a picnic for lunch or enjoy the food at one of the many restaurants on site. There are many opportunities for pictures and fun souvenirs.
But if driving your car through is not your thing, don’t worry you can take the air conditioned bus through the various animal reserves.
