TELUS Grand Gestures are an Amazing way to say Thank you! #ActsOfCaring

When a company gives back to their customers it is a great thing. We all can choose what brands we use and what products we bring into our family and our home. We make these choices because of quality, price and reputation. Often the relationship ends there. I have noticed since social media has grown in popularity that many of these brands now have a face. A person who can easily be reached at any time and a personality. Suddenly we see the people behind the brand. And every once in a while a company goes above and beyond all that and does something that just makes you happy that you are a customer of theirs. They say thank you to their customers in a way we will always remember. They totally go above and beyond. 

This is what TELUS did for one customer and it was truly amazing! 

You can see in the video that TELUS truly cares about the communities where we live, work and play. Putting customers first is their top priority and part of that is listening to their feedback and thanking them for their loyalty.They believe in the Give Where We Live philosophy , something I know many Canadians appreciate.

Ramona’s surprise was just the beginning. The TELUS Care-a-Van team is rolling into town this week with a host of events and activities that
will be taking place all week long to specially thank TELUS local customers and the Guelph community. Here are some of the things they are doing 
o TELUS is literally performing everyday acts of caring all over the Guelph community throughout the week. As part of this, we’re donating $5 to the Guelph Children’s Foundation for every use of #actsofcaring.
o They’re going door to door to the homes of our top 100 customers to thank them personally with a care package 
o They’re hosting a free BBQ lunch for our top 1000 customers and their families at the local TELUS store.
They also will be presenting a cheque to the Guelph Children’s Foundation in the amount of $5000 – in response to all the uses of #actsofcaring. Donald Woodley (member of TELUS Board of Directors) will join the celebration to present the cheque.

A simple thank you really goes a long way, especially when delivered in person. There is no doubt the community will remember this kind gesture forever. TELUS is leading the way for all and they know they would not be where they are today without their customers. Well done! 

I have been teaching my children the importance of saying thank you for many years. This amazing video shows how truly appreciated a Thank you is.
