Guardians of the Galaxy Screening review

Recently subway invited Amy to check out Guardians of the Galaxy
GOTG-poster
Guardians of the Galaxy is the latest in the Marvel movie franchise to hit screens this summer and it does not disappoint. From the casting to the writing and the effects, this movie literally has everything for series fans as well as those who just want to see a great movie. The 80’s references had my husband and I (and many of our fellow theater-goers) laughing out loud and I for one am not ashamed to admit to seat dancing to the fab music too. I won’t spoil it, but yeah, this is also a soundtrack I will be picking up.
The Computer Graphics was not overdone despite two main characters being all digital, and I must say, the relationship between Rocket and Groot was reminiscent of Han Solo and Chewbacca. If you’re also a fan of that series, you’ll get it.
I love how these movies tie-in together but remain independent at the same time. Firefly fans will relate to ‘Starlord’ aka Quill, right down to his swagger.  A great tie-in to the whole Marvel series, I can hardly wait for the next one already.
‎A big thank you to Subway Canada as well for the event. Superheroes need to eat healthy to fight off the bad guys, and we thoroughly enjoyed our sandwiches after the event too.
