Recently Amy checked out the movie Big Hero 6. Read her thoughts below
On the weekend I got to check out and advance screening of Disney’s latest film: Big Hero 6. Subway Canada put on the event for their #SubwayandaMovie series and it was a lot of fun.
It opened with the most adorable short titled ‘Feast’ about a sweet little Boston Terrier and his adventures in food. Truly a sweet feature, it reminded me of the Disney of old :).
A wonderful film full of adventure, action and a heartwarming story of overcoming tragedy, I genuinely loved it. The animation was fantastic and the plot was full of action. I loved the characters, the two main are Hiro and Baymax, his puffy ‘literal loving’ robot ‘health-care caregiver’.
Hiro’s ‘team’ are full of personality and such a wonderful mix of talents and backgrounds. The humour makes kids and adults laugh out loud and the animation is crisp and not overly digitized which I really appreciate. My hubby accompanied me and he really enjoyed the movie too, the superhero components grabbed his interest.
For Marvel fans (a branch of Disney), this one will definitely be a fun one to watch, and hint, stay until the end of the credits, I won’t spoil it, but if you are indeed a Marvel fan, you’ll appreciate my tip.
The special bond that develops between plus-sized inflatable robot Baymax, and prodigy Hiro Hamada, who team up with a group of friends to form a band of high-tech heroes.
Watch for Big Hero 6 in theatres everywhere Nov 7th
Rated PG
Hopefully you love it too!
