Saving made simple with Gail Vaz-Oxlade Giveaway CAN #CommonCentsDay

The only reason I was able to be a stay at home mom to my children for so many years was because of my coupon collection. Every week I would look for coupons I could use on products I know we would be buying. Money saving coupons would often cut my grocery bill in half. I would watch for sales and never buy clothes that were not on the clearance rack. I developed many frugal habits and my family never noticed anything different. A few savings here and there allowed us to splurge when and where we needed. My children are older and I now work from home, but I still have the same habits that we benefited from for so many years.

To help Canadians overcome financial anxiety, Gail is excited about the recent launch of  ‘Use Your Common Cents Day’ on November 4th . She took that day to educate Canadians on better budgeting and financial literacy. The day helped Canadians to use their common sense when it comes to everyday spending.

With the holiday season looming over us, many Canadians are feeling the inevitable burden of bills and the need to save. In Fact, 1 in 3 (31%)  Canadians identify November as being a month their budgets get derailed due to unforeseen holiday spending.

Right now you can visit for helpful tips and advice from Gail on how to gear-up for successful savings.  You can also join over 1 million Canadians and register to have access to print-at-home coupons on top brands, exclusive samples and daily inspiration every day of the year!  Happy Savings!
