The only reason I was able to be a stay at home mom to my children for so many years was because of my coupon collection. Every week I would look for coupons I could use on products I know we would be buying. Money saving coupons would often cut my grocery bill in half. I would watch for sales and never buy clothes that were not on the clearance rack. I developed many frugal habits and my family never noticed anything different. A few savings here and there allowed us to splurge when and where we needed. My children are older and I now work from home, but I still have the same habits that we benefited from for so many years.
