Lunch making made easy with Rubbermaid LunchBlox #BetterLunchInASnap

As much as I keep trying to organize my life, my kitchen just will not cooperate!

Even when I make my New Years resolution to be more organized, it just does not happen easily.

I know things would run smoother and morning rush would be easier if my kitchen was more organized. I clean out the cupboards and organize everything. Just to have the kids and maybe myself make it a bit piled mess within a day or two. Every morning I wake bright and early with my teens so they can catch the bus. I make their lunch in the morning and at the same time prepare my youngest’s lunch.  She wakes up shortly after they have left for school to have her breakfast and start the day. During this time I squeeze in some emails, maybe the news or weather and if lucky a coffee. I know I can make lunches the night before but I prefer them made that day. My picky children do as well.

The problem I have though is my chaotic small kitchen. Very little cupboard space and too many dishes and containers for it. The schools request litterless lunches so plastic wrap and baggies is not recommended. Although they do make life easy some days. So I use containers for everything.

As long as I can find their matching lids!

The other day I had a lid for ever container but the one I needed it for.

Recently Rubbermaid sent me a solution to my lunch box and organizational needs. A way to keep my lunch containers all organized and together and still fun. The fun and colourful Rubbermaid LunchBlox you see pictured here.

Rubbermaid LunchBlox™ Kids makes packing lunch easier than ever. These modular containers snap together to stay organized in kids’ lunch bags. They are perfectly portioned for kids’ favorite lunch foods, so packing and carrying a variety of foods is easy!

As soon as I showed this to my daughter she was thrilled. We packed up her lunch the night before! Amazing right! She put all her faves in the containers. I added an apple and juice for her as well. So the cold pack came in handy for those. I am not one of those moms who packs pretty shaped lunches. I am more practical. I think I am just not creative enough. However I know it is important my children get a balanced lunch every day and this did make sending her faves easier.

Each container snapped into one another. Great for lunch boxes or bags with the snap in place cooler pack. Also can be stacked for storage in the cupboard. If you have more than one set you can snap them on as well. Different colours to choose from . The containers keep everything separate and help with portion control. There are measurements on the sides to help with this as well. Great if you are using them for yourself and wanting to keep track of what you are eating.

  11. I love these, I will be picking them up for my kids for school. I am tired of buying the dollar store ones and having them break after a few uses. Rubbermaid is always a trusted brand.
