Fun ideas for Spring from Crayola with giveaway #ColourAlive

March Break is only two days in and the kids are already bored. We have plans later on in the week, but for now lazy days are getting boring. So I brought out the fun with Crayola!

Crayola has been keeping kids from boredom for decades. They have so many items to keep families entertained, creative and having fun for hours. This Spring we have a few faves I want to share with you .

I know may parents frown about their children being on devices all of the time. What if you could have them on their device but still be creative? Crayola has a wonderful app called Colour Alive that allows you to bring your child’s drawings and colouring pages to life! There are also other virtual products that let you combine creativity with technology.

ColourAlive

Crayola has launched an exciting new virtual colouring experience called Colour Alive, which allows children to bring their colouring creations to life and interact with them using a smartphone or tablet.

We have been having a lot of fun with this app. With four colouring books and additional colouring sheets to be downloaded, possibilities are endless. Unlock the features with the exclusive marker in each pack. The app is free to download on Apple store, Google Play and  Windows store.

Tip– Make sure you have decent memory on the device you are using. We had to remove old apps and any videos and pictures taking up space to allow this app to function correctly.

Once you unlock the features you can add the images to any picture or background. Look I have a dragon on my shoulder below

See how the character comes to life and jumps off the page?!? It is amazing! It moves around and shows the background in real life so you can add to any setting for creative pictures. color-alive-dragon   I love that the artist does not need to colour perfectly and keep in the lines for it to work. three-headed-dragon Colour-Scan-Interact. A sure sign of warm weather is seeing sidewalks covered in drawings! My little artist loves to draw on any surface possible whenever she can. Little one could not wait to get outside so she created a beautiful flower on her chalk board inside. chalk-drawing Crayola has a wide selection of specialty chalks for outdoors. Colours include Neon, Glitter and Tie Dye in large sizes for little hands that do not break easily. Sidewalk chalk is more than getting creative, you can draw out game boards and get your children active playing hop scotch and other fun outdoor games.
