There are a few brands that make me get all nostalgic! Kellogg’s is one of them, especially Mini-Wheats. I have great memories of sitting at the kitchen table with my younger sis eating cereal for breakfast before school. The frosting was always my favourite part of the Mini -Wheats, as it is also my youngest’s fave too! I love how they keep their form as I flip them over int eh milk while I eat them 🙂
Spring is on its way, however the snow is not disappearing as quickly as we would like. Many Canadians are wishing for warmer, sunny days and can not wait to say Good-bye to winter. While we wait, why not try something yummy to warm yourself up?
Kellogg’s suggested added warm milk to our Mini-wheats, well the thing is, I have done this many times. As a child, this is how my mom would give it to me each morning. It tasted great and filled my belly. Now most days we eat it with cold milk, but there is the odd time we still enjoy it with warm milk. Give it a try, I bet you will be surprised.

They're good that way the wheat is soft like how you do Shredded Wheat. But the sugary side absorbs in the milk faster. It's good but I like cold better…. especially Maple flavour. MMMm
