Cooler months still require sun protection

Just because the lazy days of summer are over that does not mean you should toss out the sunscreen! The sun is strong and often my worst burns come when I do not expect them. This means those cloudy Autumn days and those chilly but bright winters ones. If you are outdoors, you need to make sure your skin has adequate protection. Plus, you never know when a trip to a warmer destination is in the cards. Have you ever tried buying sunscreen on a resort? Boy is it ever expensive! They know we forget it and how much we need it so the price reflects that.

I had the opportunity to try out a variety of Sun Zone products. I like the continuous spray and that they have great coverage. I also like that there are so many different varieties available depending on my needs and my families skin requirements.

SPF, or Sun Protection Factor,is a measure of how well a sunscreen will protect skin from UVB rays, the kind of radiation that causes sunburn, damages skin, and can contribute to skin cancer.

I prefer sun screens with higher SPF so I do not need to reapply as often. I burn very easily and need coverage most days. The small 50ml spray bottles are great for traveling and taking along on outings in your purse or bag. Great for leaving in the glove box just in case as well.

  7. I totally agree. The sun is intense, even when it’s cold out. I easily get wind and sun burned without protection.

I don’t use it in winter only if I go somewhere hot. Great post and reminder I need to use sunscreen when out walking in the colder months.

  9. Thanks for the review, I bought Sunzone sunscreens after reading you review and loved their products. I have acne prone skin and their sunscreen lotion does not block my pores. It is amazing.
