We all are busy in today’s world! Our days are filled with schedules and meetings, errands and stress. We often forget about what is truly importantv – time with family. We need time to unwind and relax as well. I personally am always looking for new ways my family can spend time together and let loose. Ways to laugh, bond and create memories together. Video games that allow for multiple players is a great way for families to do this in the comfort of their own homes.
One of my most favourite sounds is my youngest giggling when she is out-scoring one of her teen brothers while playing a video game. The giggle is contagious and clearly expresses her love for the game she is playing. Recently she played Just Dance ® 2016 on the Wii U and I heard this none stop. Having a much younger daughter along with 3 older kids, it is not always easy to find something they all enjoy. Games that get them thinking, moving and participating as a team are perfect. We have been playing, or should I say ‘dancing‘ Just Dance® 2016 for a few days now and loving every minute of it. It has quickly become a family fave!
Just Dance ® 2016
All you need is your smartphone and the Just Dance® Controller App to play Just Dance 2016 on your console, no extra accessories needed. We used our Wii controllers but were glad we could add the phone to allow additional players.

The bright colours and fun animation make this so pleasing to the eye. A great way to stay active, have fun and just be silly.
The songs in the game brought back so many great memories and in no time the entire family was singing along to current hits and oldies. With the winter months here, the kids are indoors a bit more than usual and not as active as they normally are. This game is great at getting them moving and helping us all stay active while we wait out the winter. I am looking forward to more family time and lots more giggles to come while playing!
Playing is easy! Set up your avatar, pick your songs and characters to dance as and dance. The more you dance, the better you get. You will unlock more dances and songs along the way. While you dance there is a step by step to follow on the bottom of the screen. Your name will light up and you can earn stars and scores on your moves. You can also test out the unlimited option for free for 48 hours. It allows eighth-generation console owners to subscribe to a streaming service that allows one to play songs from past games, as well as exclusive songs only available on Unlimited. Each song is streamed in real time, with some buffering.
Dancing is a great way to celebrate and express yourself. It is fun and universal giving you freedom of expression and of course, fun!
