Many of us pay it forward throughout the year in some way or another. We give to others, share, support and help people when they are in need. We do this because it is the right thing to do and it feels good! This time of year seems to bring out the want to pay it forward even more. The feel good, warm fuzzy feelings of the holidays help inspire us to show love and support to our community, family and friends.
Shoveling a driveway for a neighbour, buying a coffee for another person, or donating to the food bank are ways we can pay it forward.
Tim Hortons’ holiday cups are back this week and to celebrate, they are kicking off the second annual Tim Hortons #WarmWishes campaign today Monday, November 16!
Canadians can enter their social media contest by sharing their good deeds and acts of kindness on Twitter and Instagram with @TimHortons using #WarmWishes.
The campaign will last six weeks, and they’ll have a new theme each week encouraging Canadians to do a good deed in the spirit of the theme. The themes are:
- Give a little warmth (Monday, November 16)
- Connect with Someone (Monday, November 23)
- Brighten Someone’s Day (Monday, November 30)
- Lend a Helping Hand (Monday, December 7)
- Spread Cheer (Monday, December 14)
- Give Back (Monday, December 21)
Share your good deeds with Tim Hortons and you could be rewarded
Each week, a random #WarmWishes participant will be rewarded the opportunity to donate five thousand dollars to the charity of their choice to help spread even more #WarmWishes. 5 total
