Baking, Celebrating and Sharing this holiday season with GLAD #GLADForTheHolidays

‘Tis the season, and  there’s no better place to celebrate than in the kitchen. Nothing brings family and friends together quite like a delicious, home cooked meal – but with all the cooking and cleaning, planning and prepping, the holiday season can sometimes feel more fearful than cheerful. GLAD wants to help you in your celebrations this holiday season! They have a fun festive collection to help with all of your baking, storing and celebrating needs.

Last weekend we went to a Christmas party and I spent the day making treats. I totally looked like a rock star showing up with tasty chocolate balls each filled with yummy goodness. Even better they were displayed in a festive container that made sharing so easy. At the end of the night I did not worry about retrieving my containers either as they are so affordable and perfect for gifting and sharing.

GLAD sent me a great package to help me get ready for the party.

The holiday-themed GLAD® products, included: Glad® Press’n Seal® Limited Edition food wrap, Glad® Freezer Zipper Bags Large and Medium, Glad® Deep Dish and Glad® Tall Entrée containers.

The variety of sizes and products make storing a breeze! I loved presenting my treats in these festive containers to the host. For the baking I kept for ourselves, these containers made it easy to stack and store in the fridge.

The cute images on the containers make these so fun to use! Winter pictures like snowmen, mittens and other seasonal cartoons make these great all winter long.

Chocolate Cheesecake balls

What You Need:

  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese (softened at room temperature)
  • 1/3 cup Chocolate Chips
  • Chocolate Chips for dipping

Whip cream cheese in a bowl. Melt chocolate chips then add to the cream cheese mixture stirring until covered evenly. Form into balls while and place onto wax paper on cooking sheet. Let cool in the freezer while melting more chocolate on the stove. Once balls are firm (about 20 minutes) you can dip them into the melted chocolate. I did this using a spoon to lower them in. Place on waxed paper and place back into the freezer until firm.

***Before placing in freezer you can roll your chocolate dipped balls into cocoa powder or shredded coconut to mix things up

Serve and enjoy!
