Family Entertainment with Amazon Original Series “Annedroids”

The following post has been compensated. All opinions, as always are my own

Children today love technology and everything it involves. They are more advanced by the time they start grade school than their parents were when graduated. Technology is part of life and every day it advances. It amazes me how far the world has advanced in just a short time. Almost every house has a computer, a tablet and cell phones. I am not surprised to see more family viewing geared towards technology and female role model lead charcters, as they are very popular. My children love to learn about robots and enjoy watching movies and television shows about them. I was super excited to check out Emmy nominated Annedroids on Amazon recently.  Season three airs June 24th on Amazon Prime Video in the US.The series spotlights, through trial and error, how science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM curriculum ) can inspire children to do great things.

Annedroids

Tween genius and kid-scientist Anne invents and builds amazing androids with the help of her friends Nick and Shania. Together they solve scientific problems through real-life solutions. In Season 3, the stakes are higher when they have to band together, with the help of their new androids, to protect the junkyard from an outside force that’s seeking to steal Pal, Anne’s most prized creation.

Annedroids is a live-action adventure series about Anne, a young female scientist, her human friends and the android assistants she’s created, and the amazing scientific discoveries they make while undertaking the biggest experiment of them all: growing up. The series spotlights, through trial and error, how science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) can inspire children to do great things.

The third season of Annedroids brings back Anne (Addison Holley, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood), and her friends Nick (Jadiel Dowlin) and Shania (Adrianna Di Liello, Stage Fright). The trio embarks on more adventures and experiments with their android friend, Pal (voiced by Millie Davis, Orphan Black) who’s more interested than ever to become a real kid. This season finds Nick banned from the junkyard by his mom, Anne upgrading junkyard security, and Shania trying her best to help things return to normal. New friends and familiar faces join them this season, including Zack (Jonny Gray, Max and Shred), who helps Anne build a new dogdroid named Fangs, and Charlie (Devyn Nekoda, Backstage) who mistakes Pal for a real kid and takes Pal to the mall.

This series was new to us and I enjoyed watching it with my seven year old daughter. It was nice to see a family friendly series with a mixture of characters. Strong role models and quirky kids with fun loving characters enjoying life and creating a world they can be proud of. We definitely will be watching the series from the beginning to see what we have missed.

Amazon Prime members tune in to watch season 3 June 24
