Drinking more Water with Brita Hard Sided on-the-go Water Bottles | Tales of a Ranting Ginger

Drinking more Water with Brita Hard Sided on-the-go Water Bottles

On my journey to be more healthy as I approach 40 this year, I have decided to drink more water. I have had a few issues with being dehydrated in the past and know I need to up my water intake. To do think I try to keep a water bottle beside me at all times. It also seems to help with appetite I find between meals.  A few weeks back I was not liking the taste of my tap water and started buying bottled water. Oh boy did that add up! The cost and the empty water bottles in my recycling were more than I had planned on. I wasn’t sure what to do as I did not want to install a water filter system in the house at this time.

Then I was sent a few Brita hard sided on-the-go water bottles to try out and was quickly relived. These were everything I needed and more!

Brita hard sided water bottle

Following the launch of the squeezable Brita® Bottle and Kids’ Bottle, the new Brita® Hard Sided bottle comes with a firm exterior and built-in straw and filter to allow for easy drinking and portability.

  • 700 mL portable bottle with replaceable water filter
  • NSF certified to reduce Chlorine (taste and odour) and particulate (Class VI).*
  • Just ONE Brita® Bottle filter can replace up to 300 plastic water bottles**
  • BPA free and dishwasher safe***

*Reduces Chlorine (taste and odour) and sediment. Substances reduced may not be in all users’ water.
** Standard 500 mL bottles
*** Top Shelf Only

All I do is fill up the water bottle and drink as we normally do. No tipping of the bottle needed as the straw reaches the bottom. Set up was as easy as rinsing the filter under water. There is a small loop handle making it easy for walking and people on-the-go as well as a thicker plastic cover over the spout where you put your mouth to protect your teeth. I also like that when I am paying attention I can measure how much water I am actually drinking with the clearly displayed measurements on the side. The lid fits tightly and the drinking spout closely evenly keeping spills to a minimum.

For $19.99 with a filter that lasts 2 months, this is an affordable option. Replacement filters are $7.99 for a pack of two.

Now when I walk, drive , work and even sleep, I have filtered water by my side. It is really refreshing and a worry free way to drink more water!

My kids really enjoy the smaller bottles with the Blue Jays logo on them. Great for school and sports as well as riding their bikes.

We just got back from LA and were commenting about how terrible the water is there and how we will have to buy a filter water bottle for next time we go! The water was bad but dehydration is worse so we tried our best.

  2. This looks like an awesome bottle to have, I should look for one!!
