Start your Day with a Metamucil Smoothie #PGmom

Disclosure: I am a P&Gmom/mamanP&G. As part of my affiliation with this group I receive products and special access to P&G events and opportunities. The opinions on this blog are my own.

As I approach fourty with mixed emotions, I am being very aware of my body and my health. I am noticing that certain things I put into my body like greasy foods and soda are not making me feel the greatest. I have been working out at home and walking most evenings. It is a lot of work and constant choices but it is paying off. I have lost 10 lbs and am feeling great. I have a long road ahead of me but with proper nutrition and healthy habits, including being more active, I will be happy and healthy at 40.

A part of my healthy changes is making sure I am starting my day with a healthy breakfast.

With summer right around the corner, now is the perfect time to start getting ready to look and feel your summer best! This does not have to be a daunting task; all it takes are small steps to live a long and healthier lifestyle.

Canadians looking to improve their health can start their day off right with psyllium fibre.

Psyllium fibre, the naturally sourced dietary fibre found in Metamucil powder, has a long history of use in traditional and herbal medicines. In fact, it can provide multi-health benefits, such as helping to lower cholesterol to promote heart health* and can temporarily suppress your appetite, when taken prior to a meal.**

Over the last couple of months I have learned a great deal about my own health. You do not need to make drastic changes and sacrifices. Small changes make a big difference. Making healthy choices, getting out and moving all helps. Be the best you! I am excited to reach my goals and see where I am at by the time my birthday rolls around.

I am currently shopping for a new blender so I can get making these tasty recipes for myself!

When was the last time you tried Metamucil?

Comments

  1. I love the idea of adding extra fiber to a smoothie! That would make it even more satisfying.

  2. I use Metamucil daily to help manage my IBS but do admit that it is a bit hard to drink. The smoothie seems more palatable.

  3. Great recipe to keep things moving!!

  4. These are so healthy but also looks great. I love all the fruit additions and goji berries.

  5. I love this idea of adding Metamucil (which I do take as my system can be sluggish) to a smoothie like this for the added benefits
