5 All-Inclusive Resorts that are Perfect for Families #TT #TTOT

Planning a vacation for a family can be challenging, especially when there is a budget involved.  There is nothing worse than trying to find activities that the entire family will enjoy, a place to stay that is nice, planning for meals and snacks and not spending a fortune.  Thankfully, many resorts have recognized this and have started to offer all-inclusive vacation packages.

Here are 5 all-inclusive resorts that are perfect for families:

  1. Sandos Caracol Eco Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico

The Sandos Caracol Eco Resort has activities available for every age group.  The baby club is for children up to the age of three and then there is a club for children ages 4 to 12 that offers crafts, sports, eco-activities and a playground.  The teen program is for teens ages 13 to 17 and they have music, pool tables and sports.  Adults will not be left out while all of the kids are having fun, because they can be busy with golf, tennis or the on-site spa.  All of the activities, food and drinks are included in the rate for this resort.

  1. Club Med CREACTIVE by Cirque du Soleil in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

This resort offers unique opportunities that are not found anywhere else.  Everyone has the chance to learn how to do 25 different activities including tightrope, acrobatic bungee, juggling and aerial silk.  While at the resort, families are able to dine at one of three international restaurants, enjoy sandy beaches, play golf, partake in water sports, watch a few shows and dance the night away.  The best part is that children under the age of four stay for free.

  1. Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort in Leavenworth, Washington

The Sleeping Lady Mountain Resort is in the Cascade Mountains and guests stay in gorgeous cabins.  During their stay, guests receive a hearty breakfast and gourmet dinner that are prepared with local ingredients.  There are many outdoor activities including hiking, fishing, horseback riding, skiing and sleigh rides.  The resort also prepares scavenger hunts and garden tours for guests.

  1. Curtain Bluff in Antigua

The views of the ocean from every room at Curtain Bluff are fabulous and the entire family will feel like they are extra special during a stay here.  Children can either take part in the kids’ camp or they can play sports and participate in all of the beach activities.  The owner of the resort lives in a house at the top of the bluff and every week she invites guests over for a cocktail reception.  The rates at this resort vary according to the season, however children under the age of two stay for free and there is a special rate for children ages 2 to 5.  Besides meals and activities, teatime sandwiches, cookies, hors d’oeuvres for cocktail hour and drinks are included in the rate.

  1. Coconut Bay in St. Lucia

This all-inclusive resort has a water park that is complete with a lazy river and bodyslides as well as the Cocoland Kid’s Club, which has a water play zone.  The resort is on 85 acres of land with a family pool, adults only pool, paintball field, tennis, basketball, ping pong and more.  Guests can eat in the restaurants as much as they like while choosing from Asian and Italian foods.

These resorts know that families want to spend time together without worrying about how much they are spending on their vacation.  By making everything inclusive, the resorts are ensuring that families have the best vacation that they can possibly have.
