We are smack dab in the middle of cold and flu season. No matter who you are or where you live, chances are you will get a virus this time of year. If you have children and they are in school or daycare and around germs, they too will get sick. It is just a part of this time of year. Make sure you are prepared with the right tools in your home for when this happens.
When our children are sick it is stressful on the entire family. Making sure they are comfortable and drinking enough fluids is a full time, exhausting job. We want them to get better and we as their parents, try hard to help them feel better quickly. I know giving them medication is sometimes an option, however over the years I have started to do this less and less. Letting them ride it out and having their body fight the virus is easier said than done. How do we keep them comfortable without medicating them and still get the rest the entire family needs.
Introducing BeKool Fever reducing soft gel sheets
BeKoool Kids are non-medicated, single-use cooling gel sheets specially formulated for kids to provide immediate cooling relief from fever discomfort.
If your child has a fever and you want to give them relief, rip open a BeKoool gel sheet for up to 8 hours. Great for when they are sick, over heated or even having teething pain.
These gel sheets provide immediate cooling relief that can be placed on the forehead, cheek or neck.
When my oldest son was little he would get terrible headaches. we would often give him a cool wet cloth or an ice pack to help comfort him. The problem was the ice would melt and it was not comfy. The cloth would quickly heat up and if forgotten, would start to smell. I wish I had known about these when he was younger.
Now we always have a package of BeKool in the house. These disposable sheets are PTPA winners and are doctor recommended. The box pictured below contains 2 packages of two. Keep the unused sheet int eh foil to keep from drying out. If needed you can cut the sheets to the right size.
Of course the kids like the fun patterns on the sheet as well. I have added these to our first aid box and look forward to helping sooth my children’s fever when they happen.
Look for BeKoool at a pharmacy near you.
