Father’s Day is quickly approaching (June 18th) and my children have all been looking for ways to celebrate the day with their dad. This year they all have jobs or allowance and insisting on spending their own money. The gifts they have been coming up with are so special and thoughtful it makes my heart happy. Our youngest has been working hard on a special gift and handmade card and has asked me to take her shopping this weekend. She loves to shop and has a few items in mind. Father’s Day is not about gifts, but time, time with family and loved ones. However seeing my children so eager to give makes me proud.

We always collect the Star Trek Christmas ornaments.
