Fall is my favourite time of year! The weather i so mild and the changing scenery around us makes this time of year so great. With back to school, Thanksgiving and Halloween, it easily is one of the busiest seasons for us. I love spending time with family during Thanksgiving and enjoy taking the kids trick or treating. This year we had a big family dinner and cooked a huge turkey for Thanksgiving. I know it sounds mushy, but I am most thankful for my family.

For Halloween are are all going out together door to door. After the trick or treating fun we all head to the local fire department for a huge bonfire with hot dogs, hot chocolate and fire works. It is so dry in the summer here in BC this is our time to celebrate and enjoy things many can have in the summer. Only downfall is that Halloween falls on a school night. Middle of the week is not always easy for those with young kids. It is tough to get them to wind down and be in a routine when there is so much excitement.

Hallmark recently sent me a box of items that are great for Fall! Some fun Fall decor items great for decorating the home around Thanksgiving as well as some fun Halloween things.

This Give Thanks bowl is perfect for leftovers, stuffing, cranberries or whatever you can think to add to it. Place it on the Welcome Place-mat along side the cute napkins and measuring spoons. With the changing of leaves and the cooler temperatures, we know Fall is definitely on its way – which also means Halloween is not far behind!

As long as I have been a mom I have turned to Hallmark for Halloween fun and decor. This year they have some super cute items.

Gift bags, cars, stickers and more! They have everything you need for gifting this Halloween. My daughter’s fave is the sugar skull socks. And the chunky glass bead bracelet.

These fun items have a pop of colour and are great for all ages this October.
