Cherry Fluff (dessert salad recipe)

We as is my mom and I,  just hosted a big Christmas dinner for our family. Our family is getting bigger and bigger every year and we have not been getting together as much as my mom would like. No one really has space for so many people. Luckily my mom was offered a hall with a big beautiful kitchen in it to use for our dinner/party. It cost her nothing as she is a member and I know it meant a lot to her to have everyone together.

Our party was Saturday night. We were expecting a lot of people. Adults and children of all ages were going to be there. So we went in the night before and decorated the hall. We got together anything we could ahead of time. Cut veggies, peeled potatoes, cut cheese and made any preparations we could for the next day. The next day came earlier than I had hoped and my mom was down at the hall bright and early putting on the turkey and a ham.  I joined her shortly after and started making salads, desserts and some other Christmas dinner must haves.  We had a few hours left and there were still so many ingredients to use. I made a salmon ball and a dessert salad. Both were super easy to do and took very little time..

Cherry Fluff -This is something my moms friend often makes and brings along. As she could not make the party she sent along the ingredients so we could still enjoy this yummy dessert salad.

2 cans of cherry pie filling
1 container of cool whip
1 can of sweetened condensed milk
1 can of crushed pineapple

Instructions- Drain juice from crushed pineapple making sure to get out as much as possible. In a large bowl combine Cool whip and condensed milk.  Milk together then add cherry pie filling.  Add in strained crushed pineapple. Mix together, cover and place in fridge for 1 hour Keeps for 3 days in the fridge. serve as a salad or dessert.

The Cherry Fluff is light and yummy. I find it not to be too sweet either. The colour of it, makes it great for Christmas but you can serve it any time of year.

I had step by step photos, but for some reason I have lost them while uploading to this laptop.
