Visiting Niagara Falls USA #TasteNiagara

Amy visited Niagara Falls USA last weekend on a wine and food tour for media. Check out her weekend below and see all her updates using he #tasteniagara hashtag
Times have changed and you don’t need to jump on a plane to be an intrepid explorer anymore, there’s so much in our backyards, or in this case just across the border, that is just waiting for us to enjoy!

I was asked to visit Niagara Falls USA this last weekend and what a treat to play tourist in this wonderful region!
Checking in at the Sheraton at the Falls I was instantly relaxed, and that was further reinforced when I stepped into my oh-so-lovely room.

The Sheraton thought of every detail and our hosts, the Niagara ‎Tourism and Convention Corporation even had the yummiest caramel popcorn from Bye’s waiting on my pillow.
The next morning we made our way as a group to one of the most traditional must-see and do’s of the region: The Maid of the Mist. Donning our complimentary (and essential lol) blue rain ponchos, we boarded and joined history and the hundreds of thousands who had cruised to the falls before us.

Participating in and visiting places such as this through the eyes of a tourist was something I for one embraced to the fullest.

Watching the falls from land is one thing, but the sheer power and force of the falling water from the water, wow, that is something that needs to be on everyone’s bucket list.
