Courtyard Waterloo St. Jacobs A great location for shoppers! #ExploreWR

We were able to hang out in Waterloo and St Jacobs area last month for a couple of days. My self and three of my children. we enjoyed the local attractions including The Butterfly Conservatory and Bingemans water park. We had some great meals, and walked around local stores and more. There was so much to do I was happy to be able to break it up with a place to unwind and rest.

Located across from the Outlet mall in St Jacobs is Courtyard Waterloo a spacious hotel that has been around for quite some time! The hotels great location is just one of the things we loved. Not only is it across from the St. Jacobs Outlet Mall (jam packed with deals) But it is also  next to St. Jacobs Playhouse Theatre and a very short walk to the St Jacobs market. Located in Waterloo it took me five minutes to drive to the village of St Jacobs. Where we had a yummy country style breakfast and toured the small village and all its unique shoppes.

I enjoyed being able to walk the street that was lined with apple trees to check out local attractions. So many fun things accessible by foot!

The hotel itself has a little bistrofor meals or a drink as well as a quick self serve isle for snacks and such to take up to your room. There is no pool but my boys did take advantage of the fitness room and had it all to themselves.

Our room was huge and fit the four of us quite comfortably. One large bedroom with king bed, a large living room with a pull out sofa, an additional sofa and room for 2 pull out cots. There was also a large desk and a kitchen area with sink and fridge with microwave. I find these extras make family travel more comfortable and affordable. My children also loved that there was a TV in both the living room and the bedroom. So they did not need to watch the same show as me. Plus when I was ready for bed, they could keep watching. Being teens, they love to watch late night television and all 🙂

If you are exploring the Waterloo area and love to shop, this is a great place to stay. The staff are very nice and the rooms are nice! We were happy with our stay there.

The Bistro, offering healthy options and refreshing choices, including Starbucks and an evening bar.

New lobby experience offering engaging technology and inviting, flexible spaces to work and relax.

Rooms with Fire Place with sitting area. Jacuzzi Rooms also available with Fire Place

A few things to note

Lots of onsite parking included with your room

The room had so many plugs we were happy because we all had electronic devices that needed charging

Fitness room is accessible with room key

Great WiFi so a great place for business people or families with teens like me

We used to visit St Jacobs all the time, but it has been awhile. Knowing this great hotel is there with all these amenities means we would not have to make that drive home at night, LOL. Great reason to do some Christmas shopping there! 😉
